A tough, smart, and hard-working student athlete. Goalkeeper with excellent composure, footwork, decision-making, distribution, and shot-blocking ability. Great communicator with booming voice on the pitch.  A former forward on the soccer pitch and multi-sport athlete that has also competed in cross country and basketball.  Class of 2024.

Academics:

Honor Roll student at St. Stephen's Episcopal School, Austin, TX.  Distinguished electives: Advanced Chemistry II (extra class), Physics, Astrophysics, Public Speaking and Mandarin.  Interested in furthering academic career in the fields of Physics and Biology. Academic year 2022-2023: Honor Roll; Academy Academic Excellence Award; Junior Spartan Award.  High School Research Academy at The University of Texas at Austin - Research on photopolymerization of organic dyes with biomedical applications.  Academic year 2021-2022: Honor Roll; Inducted into National Chinese Honor Society; Awarded Chinese Book Prize; Awarded Academy Academic Excellence Award.  Texas State University Honors Summer Math Camp.  Academic year 2020-2021: Honor Roll; Awarded Chinese Book Prize.  Native fluency in English and Spanish and advanced proficiency in Mandarin.

Personal:

When not studying or playing soccer, Salvador enjoys reading, mountain biking, basketball, cooking, baking and weightlifting.
